Become vulnerable (2017)

Become vulnerable is a collective multimedia performance developed by Patrycja Pakiela, Stephanie Lee and Jaime Belmonte as part of the program Transcultural Collaboration. Its presentation took place in October 2017 in Hong Kong.

An exploration of what it means to be vulnerable. Participants were asked to put on blindfolds and explore the sounds and sensations. They were presented with the option to lean into the discomfort or stay within their comfort zones.

How much trust are you willing to put in a stranger? What will you do if you cannot be seen and you cannot see? What is the outcome of trust and exploration? What will you discover without one of your senses?
